Installation
Install the base station at a central location in the vicinity of
which you will make telephone calls (not in the cellar or
attic). You should have free access to the base station - it
should not be placed in wall recesses or behind furniture.
Thick reinforced concrete walls and metal doors severely
limit the radio signal. Avoid installing the base station in
such locations. The base station should be placed near to a
window to facilitate operation outside of the building
A 230V mains socket and your telephone connection termi-
nal must be near the installation site.
The radio signal has a range of
• up to 30 m in closed buildings
• up to 300 m outdoors when facing the base station
