Password Option
The Password Option Setup menu allows you to safeguard and protect the system
from unauthorized use by setting up access passwords.
To set a password
1.
Select
Set Password
from the Main menu.
A password box will appear.
2.
Type a password then press
Enter
.
The password may consist of up to six alphanumeric characters
(A-Z, a-z, 0-9).
3.
Retype the password to verify the first entry then press
Enter
again.
After setting the password, the system automatically sets the chosen password

password that will be required for a user to enter the
Setup utility and modify configuration settings.

Refer to this parameter to check if a password to
access the Setup utility has been set.

be required. Options include: (a) every time the
system boots, or (b) only when user tries to enter the
Setup utility
