10. INSTALLING THE
LIGHT KIT
NOTE: B e f o r e s t a r t i n g i n s t a l l a t i o n ,
disconnect the power by turning off
the circuit breaker or removing the
fuse at fuse box. Turning power off
using the fan switch is not sufficient to
prevent electric shock.
1. Raise and hold the light kit close to
the mounting plate and proceed to
do the wire connections. Connect the
white wire connectors from the light
k i t a n d f a n , f o l l o w t h e s a m e
p r o c e d u r e w i t h t h e b l a c k w i r e
connectors. (Fig. 17)
2. Carefully push all wires back into the
mounting plate, then install the light
kit onto the mounting plate with 3
screws provided. Be sure to tighten
all screws. (Fig. 17)
11. INSTALLING THE
LIGHT BULBS & GLASS
SHADE
1. Install 3 x 40w candelabra bulbs (not
included). (Fig. 18)
2. Remove the decorative nut and metal
nut from the light kit. Place glass
shade over the light kit stem, secure
with the metal nut (rubber side on
the top), glass cap and decorative
nut. Do not overtighten.(Fig. 18)
3. Restore power and your light kit is
ready for operation.
