In the case of aspiration of dust that may give rise to self-ignition
phenomena, the collection bin must be emptied immediately
after each activity.
This precaution must also be adopted in the case of suction of
different types of powders whose mixture may give rise to
exothermic reactions.
A periodic check of the conditions of equipotentiality must be
carried out, in particular after maintenance operations, between
the different metal parts of the equipment, in particular the
moving parts and the baskets for sleeves.
Strictly use antistatic / dissipative components that ensure
electrical continuity
The installation, assembly and disassembly operations must be
carried out on switched off machines and in the absence of a
potentially explosive atmosphere.
The installer must check the correspondence of the process
specifications with the characteristics of the equipment shown on
the plate (for example in reference to the maximum surface
temperature).
In the case of material with incompatible product characteristics,
the use of the equipment is prohibited.
Attached are the manuals of the ATEX components mounted on
the equipment: the user must observe all safety instructions
relating to the use of these components.
The cleaning of the equipment must be carried out by the user to
avoid the formation of layers of combustible dust.
Do not use compressed air to clean the layers of dust, but suitable
suction systems suitable for the treatment of potentially explosive
dust (ATEX certified vacuum cleaners).
