8.3.1

Replacing the halogen lamp of the 6-pin coupling

 CAUTION! The lamp can be hot. Risk of burns! Allow the lamp to cool 

down.
1. Remove the high-speed handpiece.
2. Insert blunt pick into recessed area on lamp base and slide lamp out 

of socket.

3. Remove the defective lamp (A).

 IMPORTANT: Do not touch replacement lamp with bare fingers. 

Oils from the skin decrease lamp life. Use gloves when handling 

lamp.

4. Insert carefully the new lamp with contact pin end first into lamp 

socket. 

Be sure to orient recessed area on lamp base to face out slot on
