To System Designers

When  introducing  the  PR-700UDM  in  those  systems  that  could  affect

human  lives  (e.g.,  medicines  management  system),  develop  applications
carefully through redundancy and safety design which avoids the feasibility
of affecting human lives even if a data error occurs.

Implantable Medical Equipment:

A  patient  with  implantable  medical  equipment  (cardiac  pacemaker,  etc.)  is

strongly advised to operate the PR-700UDM at least 12 cm away from the
said medical equipment. A survey conducted on the wireless card systems
has  reported  the  possibility  of  their  affecting  or  giving  unfavorable  impact
on implantable medical equipment.

This is a general characteristic of those systems using radio waves, and not
a unique feature of DENSO WAVE's products or the PR-700UDM itself.

Improper handling of the product against these warning precautions could result in overheating,
smoke, or malfunction. Be sure to observe the following when using this product.

Do not contact metal objects with the terminal.

Doing so could produce a large current through the product, resulting in heat
or fire, as well as damage to the product.

Do not use the voltages other than power voltage specified.

Doing so could cause the product to break or burn.

Do not use the product in the presence of inflammable gases.

Doing so could cause fire or electrical shock.

Do not use the product in places subject to strong vibration or shock.

Doing so could cause the product to break or burn.

Do  not  use  the  product  in  places  where  the  use  of  radio  waves  is  restricted,

such as on airplanes or in hospitals.

Doing so may cause failure or malfunction in electronic or medical equipment.

Do not scratch or modify the product or the USB cable. Do not heat, bend, twist

or pull the USB cable.

Doing so could break the product or the USB cable, resulting in fire.

Do not drop or apply force to the product.

Doing so could cause the device to malfunction.

Do  not  use  the  product  in  places  where  it  is  subject  to  sharp  temperature

changes, dewing or steam.

Doing so could cause fire or electric shock.

Avoid spilling liquid such as soft drink, coffee or water on the product.

Doing so could cause fire or electric shock.

If the USB cable is damaged (e.g. exposed or broken lead wires), stop using it

and contact your nearest dealer.
Failure to do so could result in fire or electrical shock.
