CAUTION:

Some of the functions of the PMA-1500AE can also be controlled with the remote control units included with other DENON pre-main
amplifiers.

NOTE:

With DENON portable CD players and some other CD
players, the auto search mode is set when the

button is pressed shortly then released, and

the manual search mode is set when one of the
buttons is held in.

POWER

• When the main unit’s POWER switch is

set to the ON/STANDBY position (

press this to turn the PMA-1500 AE’s
power on and off.

• When the power is turned off from the

remote control unit, the main unit’s
POWER indicator lightes red, and the
input Indicator turns off, indicating that
the PMA-1500AE is in the standby mode.

• When the main unit’s POWER switch is

set to the OFF position (

) after turning

the power off from the remote control
unit and then set back to the
ON/STANDBY position (

), the PMA-

1500AE is set to the operating mode.

MUTING

• When pressed, the main unit’s POWER

indicator flush red  and the speaker output
is turned off. When pressed again, the
mute mode is cancelled and the POWER
indicator light green.

• Use these to control the CD player

connected to the PMA-1500AE.
