Operating Instructions
TO COMMENCE DRIVING (TRANSPORT BETWEEN SITES / NO CUTTING)
• Raise the
“Deadmans”
lever (item 13)
• Push the
“Drive Control”
lever (item 10) forwards.
• Set the
“Throttle control”
to increase / reduce speed.
STOP DRIVING
• Pull the
“Drive Control”
lever (item 10) backwards
.

RELEASING THE
“DEADMANS”
LEVER WITH THE ROLLER OR CUTTER ENGAGED
WILL CAUSE THE ENGINE TO STOP.
NOTE
FITTING GRASSBOX
• Disengage the cylinder and roller drive and wait for the cutter to stop rotating.
• Hold the grass box firmly on the lower lip of the aperture.
• Lift the box pivoting about the highest edge and depositing the content in front of
the mower. (see Figure 1)
• Return to original position.
TO COMMENCE CUTTING
• Raise the
“Deadmans”
lever (Item 13)
• Push the
“Cylinder Control”
lever (Item 12) forwards
• Push the
“Drive Control”
lever (Item 10) forwards
• Set the
“Throttle control”
to increase / reduce speed.
TO STOP CUTTING
• Pull the
“Drive Control”
lever (Item 10) backwards.
• Pull the
“Cylinder Control”
lever (Item 10) backwards.
• Release
“Deadmans”
lever.
RELEASING THE
“DEADMANS”
LEVER WITH THE ROLLER OR CUTTER ENGAGED
WILL CAUSE THE ENGINE TO STOP.
