General Adjustments
SETTING THE CYLINDER
The Cylinder can be set either in or out of the machine.
To Set:
•
Slacken 2-off lock nuts (Item 1) [19mm spanner]
•
Rotate nut (Item 2) anti-clockwise to bring the blade
towards the cylinder.
•
Check the setting using thin paper along the length
of the cylinder.
•
Adjust until it cuts across the whole length.
•
When set, tighten the lock nut (Item 1)
•
Recheck adjustment.
•
DO NOT set the cylinder hard to the bottom blade.
This will cause excessive wear of both components
and increase fuel consumption.

HANDLEBAR ADJUSTMENT
The “Handle Bars” are adjustable to achieve the
correct working height for the operator.
To Set:
•
Slacken off 4-off nuts (Item 1) ¼” turn [17mm
spanner]
•
Raise / lower the “Handle Bar” to the desired
position.
•
When set, tighten the nuts (Item 1)
