Hazard for children and a wider group of persons

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with limited phys-
ical, sensory or mental abilities or lacking experience and/or knowledge, unless they are 
supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions for use 
of the device from this person in advance.

Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the appli-
ance.

Hazard from electricity

z

The mixer must not be immersed in water or other liquids. Electric shock hazard! Also, 
do not use the device in the direct vicinity of moisture sources, e.g. a sink.

z

Do not operate appliance outdoors.

z

Only connect the mixer to a properly installed socket with protective contacts.

z

Ensure that the socket is well-accessible, so that you can remove the mains plug quickly, 
if necessary.

z

Do not use the mixer:

- if the mixer, base or other parts are damaged,
- the power cable or plug are damaged,
- the device has fallen.

z

Unwind the power cable completely prior to use. Ensure that the power cable is not 
damaged by sharp edges or hot items.

z

Disconnect the mains plug from the socket:

- if you are inserting/removing the beaters/kneading hooks from the mixer,
- if you are placing the mixer on/removing the mixer from the base,
- if you are not using the mixer,
- after each use,
- before cleaning or putting the appliance away,
- if an obvious fault occurs during operation,
- in a thunder storm.

     Always pull on the plug, not on the cable.

Do not carry out any modifications to the appliance or its mains cable. Only allow 
repairs to be carried out on appliances by a professional workshop.

Do not use an extension cord.

Do not use the mixer without operator attention.

Never remove the mixer from the base if it is still switched on. Never place the mixer 
on the base when switched on and with rotating inserts.
