The Request to Exit contact is hardwired on the controller board to interrupt the door lock signal; this does not
go through any software and is effectively hardwired through traces on the board. This was done to make field
wiring easier.
See Request to Exit details for selection of Request to Exit based on the Door Lock type.
Auxiliary Output Wiring Detail (Not evaluated by UL)
The Auxiliary output for each door is an SPDT relay and can be wired as N.O. and/or N.C.. It is controlled
from a single software output. The contacts are rated at 24VAC/DC @ 5A.
Wiring Detail for switching a large load (120VAC Motor) is shown below. (Not evaluated by UL.)
LED1 and LED2 Outputs
LED1 and LED2 for each door are meant to be connected to the respective Card reader so we can give visual
indication on the Card reader for degraded mode and bad card reads by default. The LED outputs are Open-
collector current sink and are rated at a maximum 24VDC @50mA current limited.
See the section on Card reader wiring above for an example of using LED1 to control the LED from a Card
reader.
