Position the large dustbag (36) inside the tank
by fitting the cardboard collar onto the suction
inlet port and pressing firmly in place (fig. 22).
Fit the appliance with the attachment most
suited to the task to be performed, either directly
onto the handgrip or on the extension tubes.
Thanks to the wide range of attachments
available, your cleaner will effectively vacuum up:
- dust from carpets, matting, rugs, and
hard floors. use the carpet/floor brush (33)
- dust, crumbs, small debris from radiators,
drawers, cobwebs from corners: use the
crevice tool (31)
- soil, saw dust, wood shavings, etc, from
all types of floors, car interiors, garages,
cellars: use either the suction hose or the
multi-purpose nozzle (29) which can also
be used to pick up dust, crumbs, fluff, etc.
- dust from shelves, books, lampshades,
frames, ornaments, curtains, drapes,
clothes, etc.: use the round brush
attachment (32).
Plug in the appliance and switch on by
depressing the on/off switch.
Care and Maintenance
Always disconnect the appliance from the
mains before starting any maintenance
operation.
Always empty, clean and dry the wet/dry tank
after use. To ensure perfect hygiene and
lengthen the working life of your appliance,
never leave any dirt inside the tank.
Empty the wet/dry tank with the help of the
inner handle.
To empty the wet/dry tank, remove the
components in the following order:
a) selector (9)
b) external solution tank (10)
c) solution dispenser (22)
d) flexible hose (1)
e) motor unit (6).
Polyurethane foam filter maintenance (35)
After using the appliance always wash the
polyurethane foam filter under running water
and allow it to dry thoroughly before
repositioning it.
Owing to their particular composition,
polyurethane foam filters deteriorate rapidly if
not washed after each use.
Paper and cloth filter maintenance
When using the appliance as a dry or wet
vacuum cleaner, replace the motor protection
filter regularly. The cloth filter (where provided)
should be washed periodically with soap and
water.
Make sure the cloth filter is completely dry
before reusing it.
