Installing the LSI 9265-8i RAID Battery

Attach the RAID battery onto the RAID battery carrier. See Figure 3-
21.

Replace the screws securing the RAID battery. See Figure 3-21.

Connect the cable connecting to the LSI 9265-8i card. 

4

 

Install the system-board assembly. See “Installing a System-Board 
Assembly” on page 116. 

5

 

Remove the LSI 9265-8i RAID battery assembly from the system-board 
assembly. See “Installing the LSI 9265-8i RAID Battery Assembly” on 
page 146. 

6

 

Reconnect the system to the electrical outlet and turn the system on, 
including any attached peripherals.
