Remove the four hex screws on the back of the computer.

Lift the system board out and away from the base.  
 

  

 

Installing the System Board  

 

 

1.

Perform all the steps in 

Removing the System Board

 in reverse order.  

 

  

 

 

2.

Insert the battery into the battery bay.  
 

 

  

3.

Connect the AC adapter to the computer and to an electrical outlet.  
 

 

 

 

 

4.

Turn on the computer.  
 

 

 

5.

Insert the CD that accompanied the replacement system board into the appropriate drive. Follow the instructions on the screen.

When installing the system board, ensure that you align the wireless switch on the base with the switch on the system board.
