Removing the keyboard
1. Follow the procedure in

2. Remove the:

3. Disconnect the keyboard cable from the system board [1].
4. Hold the sides of the palmrest securely while pushing into the two release holes using a plastic scribe [2].
NOTE:
It takes some force to push out the keyboard through the two release holes. Exercise due caution.
NOTE:
Picture for representational purpose to show exact location of keyboard latches. It is not necessary to remove
the heat sink, hard drive, or system board to access the keyboard release holes.
5. Gently pry up the lower edge of the keyboard from the computer.
