Removing the power button with fingerprint reader
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
2. Remove the base cover .
3. Remove the battery .
4. Remove the memory modules .
5. Remove the hard drive .
6. Remove the coin-cell battery .
7. Remove the wireless card .
8. Remove the speakers .
9. Remove the fan .
10. Remove the display assembly .
11. Remove the I/O board .
12. Remove the system board .
13. Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 2 in Removing the keyboard bracket .

Steps
1. Slide and remove the power button with fingerprint-reader cable from the keyboard bracket.
2. Remove the fingerprint-reader cable through the routing guides on the keyboard bracket.
3. Peel the power button with fingerprint-reader cable from the keyboard bracket.
4. Slide the power button with fingerprint-reader, along with its cable, off the slot on the keyboard bracket.
