Replacing the power-adapter
port

Procedure
1 Insert the power-adapter port into the slot on the computer base.
2 Slide the power-adapter port cable through the slot on the computer
base.
3 Turn the computer over.
4 Route the power-adapter port cable through the routing guides on the
computer base.
5 Connect the power-adapter port cable to the system board.
Post-requisites
1 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in " Replacing the fans ".
2 Follow the procedure from step 2 to step 6 in “ Replacing the palm rest ”.
3 Replace the keyboard .
4 Follow the procedure from step 4 to step 6 in “ Replacing the hard drive ”.
5 Replace the base cover .
6 Replace the battery .
