1 Remove the base cover .
2 Remove the battery .
3 Remove the memory modules .
4 Remove the speakers .
5 Remove the solid-state drive/Intel Optane memory module .
6 Remove the wireless card .
7 Remove the graphics-card fan .
8 Remove the processor fan .
9 Remove the heat sink .
10 Remove the coin-cell battery .
11 Remove the touchpad .
12 Remove the hard drive (optional).
13 Remove the power-adapter port .
14 Remove the I/O board .
15 Remove the display assembly .
16 Remove the system board .
17 Remove the power button with fingerprint reader .

Procedure
1 Remove the 19 screws (M1.2x2) that secure the keyboard bracket to the palm-rest assembly.
2 Remove the 21 screws (M2x3) that secures the keyboard bracket and keyboard to the palm-rest assembly.
3 Lift the keyboard bracket off the palm-rest assembly.
