Remove the CD/DVD drive by sliding and holding the drive latch release downward. Then, slide the drive out of the computer.

Installing a CD/DVD Drive

Follow the procedures in "

Before you Begin

."

2.

If you are installing a new CD/DVD drive rather than replacing a drive, remove the drive- panel inserts.

3.

Gently slide the drive into place until it clicks or you feel the drive securely installed.
