Installing the display cable

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

About this task

The following image indicates the location of the display cable and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.

Steps

1. Adhere the display cable on the display back-cover.
2. Route the display cable through the routing channel on the display back-cover.
3. Adhere the conductive tape to secure the display cable in place.
4. Connect the display cable to the connector on the camera module.
5. Adhere the conductive tape on the left display hinge to secure the display cable in place.

NOTE:

 For Chromebook 3110 systems shipped with WWAN, route the display cable along the routing channels at the

bottom-left side of the display back-cover and then adhere the piece of conductive tape to secure the display cable in
place.
