Configuration Mode
Configures system peripherals automati-
cally if set to Auto (default). If set to
Manual, peripherals must be configured
using the remaining categories in this sub-
menu.
Standard IDE Interface
System only supports SCSI devices.
Always set to Disabled.
Floppy Interface
Enables (default) or disables the on-board
diskette drive controller.
Serial Port 1 Address
Selects address and IRQ for this port;
COM1, 3F8h (default).
Serial Port 2 Address
Selects address and IRQ for this port;
COM2, 2F8h (default).
Parallel Port Address
Selects address and IRQ for this port;
LPT1, 378h (default).
Parallel Port Mode
Selects mode for this option from four
options; ISA Compatible (default), PS/2
Compatible, EPP, and ECP.
Parallel Port ECP-
DMA
Sets parallel port DMA channel if the par-
allel port mode is set to ECP Compatible.
Normally, set this to Disabled.
Serial Port n and Paral-
lel Port IRQs
Displays current IRQ for the serial and par-
allel ports.
Onboard SCSI ROM
Scan (SCSI A and
SCSI B)
Enables devices attached to the on-board
SCSI controllers to be the boot device. If
set to Disabled, SCSI devices attached to
the on-board host adapters are neither rec-
ognized nor bootable, but the system
resources assigned to the SCSI host adapter
are still reserved.
Console Redirection
Enables (Port 1 or Port 2) or disables
(default) monitor redirection to a serial
port.
