8. Commissioning and Test Software RDemo
The software program “RDemo” is specially designed for testing purposes. It is a helpful
tool for reading out data from and writing data into the memory of a transponder.
The current RDemo version can be found at: www.deister.com – deister RFID Portal
8.1 Installing RDemo
For installing RDemo double click the folder
“RDemo”
and select
“rdemo172.exe”
(or the equivalent higher version delivered with your product):
Please follow the installation instructions. After successful installation start RDemo.
8.2 Port setting – Get connection
In order to establish a connection between the UDL 250 and RDemo the according COM
Port has to be adjusted within the program. Select the communication port of the UDL 250
from the menu “Port” as shown below:
