INSTALLATION & MOUNTING OF THE HEATER

This appliance is an infrared heater dedicated exclusively to housing heating, as recommended below.

The Degxel™ heaters can be installed in all interior parts of the housing.

The location should be chosen taking into account several parameters

Heater maintenance and cleaning

Mounting and fixing the heater to a wall or ceiling

For your safety, the heater surface must be completely cold before dusting it off. It is forbidden to use any product

like trichlorethylene solvents, abrasives, corrosives or similar products to clean the heater. It is forbidden to use

water to clean the heater. Use a dry cloth to clean the front of the panel.

Follow carefully the installation instructions described in the separate manual supplied with your heater. Any

installation not complying the instructions makes the warranty and manufacturer’s liability not applicable. If you

feel not being able to achieve a proper installation, call a professional.

Before connecting the appliance check that no anomalies are shown.

The installation and operation must be performed by a responsible adult having no physical or mental disability.

The heater shouldn’t be in any case left within the reach of children before, during or after installation. Make sure

that small children cannot reach the heater once installed.

Basically, the connection of the heater requires no electrical manipulation. Simply plug the appliance into a

standard outlet. In case you want to hide the power cable behind the heater, call a professional.

Never pull the power cable and do not hang the unit by the cable. The cord should not be tied or wrapped.

Take care so that the power cord is never in contact with sharp or hot surfaces so that it is never damaged.

Never cover the appliance during use to avoid any risk of fire.

Always observe a minimum distance of 25 mm between the heater and the supporting wall. If you follow the

installation instructions and the original equipment, this distance is automatic.

Only the heater frames provided by the manufacturer ensure your complete safety of use. Never replace the

original frame and do not attempt to add another frame.

The heater must be installed on an open façade (limiting the number of immediate obstacle) allowing the infra-

red radiation to deploy with an angle as wide as possible to reach a maximum of objects (walls, ceiling, floor, etc.).

Always observe a minimum distance of 20 cm between the heater and any object lying above, beside or below.

And a minimum distance of 40 cm in front of the heater.

Make sure the front of the wall (for hanging the heater) is flat and solid in its structure (so there is no risk of

degradation or crumbling, therefore unhooking). If in doubt, call a professional.
