TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The Degxel™ heaters are infrared heaters in accordance to the CE & ROHS (230V/50Hz) standards. They are

certified by the German inspection body TUV/GS. They are divided into several ranges:

The infrared radiation (IR) is an electromagnetic radiation of a greater length than that the one of a visible light

wave (so it is invisible). It is comparable to a sunlight that we cannot see but we feel the heat when we are

exposed to it. A high temperature heat source emits infrared which are afterwards absorbed by a cold body that

restore them again. The heat can therefore be transmitted without contact by infrared radiation.

Thermal radiation is transmitted through the surface of the heater. This surface consists of an optimal heating

body for the radiation. This radiation is transmitted to the “objects” that the infrared waves encounter on their path

(floor, walls, ceiling, objects, people, etc.). The waves travel at 180° and are safe for humans. For more information

about IR: www.foxof.com
