14 Decommissioning the DEGERtracker
14.1
Disassembly
DANGER!
Danger to life caused by electric current!
Danger to life caused by electric shock when contacting live components.
Before starting work, switch off the electric power supply and secure it against accidental
switching on.
Work in the electrical system must only be carried out by qualified professionals, who have
been properly instructed for the work to be performed

Move the DEGERtracker into the horizontal position using the CCB or a commercial battery pack
(DC 12 to 26 V). Connect the two wires of the drive to the positive (+) and negative (-) terminal of the
battery pack. If the DEGERtracker moves into the inclined position, switch the wires for the drive at the (+)
and (-) terminal of the battery pack.

Disconnect the DEGERtracker from the power supply.
WARNING!
Risk of injury due to improperly performed disassembly work.
Improperly performed disassembly work may result in serious injury and considerable material
damage.
Ensure sufficient space for the assembly is available before starting.
Ensure proper disassembly.
Only allow disassembly work to be performed by people who have been properly trained and
the qualifications as stipulated in the individual sections on assembly.
Take care of sharp-edged parts.
Wear protective helmet, shoes and gloves.
WARNING!
Danger to life due to suspended loads.
If heavy components swivel out and fall down, this may result in serious injury or even death.
Never walk under or in the range of pivotal movement of suspended loads
Only move loads under supervision.
Only use lifting equipment and load attachments that are designed to carry the weight of the
respective component.
Do not use any lifting equipment such as rope or belts that are torn.
Take care of the centre of gravity.
Parts may only be removed and lifted by people who are authorised to operate the lifting
equipment.
Wear protective helmet, shoes and gloves.
The DEGERtracker must be disassembled in the reverse order to how it is described in the section
“Assembly”. Follow the safety information provided.
