Prevent children from pulling

the kettle over. Ensure that
the power cord does not
overhang the worktop surface.

Position the appliance in such
a way that the plug is always
accessible.

Hold the appliance by the
handle only. The outside
surface of the kettle may get
hot during use. There is a
danger of burns. Avoid contact
with hot surfaces as well as
with emitting steam.

Do not open the lid while the
water is boiling. Be careful
whilst opening the lid after the
water has boiled. The steam
which comes out of the kettle
is very hot.

Make sure that the lid always
remains properly closed when
using the kettle.

Position the lid so that steam is
directed away from the handle.
Do not remove the lid while the
water is boiling.

Never fill the kettle above the
maximum level indicator. If it is
overfilled, then boiling water
may splash out.

Do not fill the kettle below the
minimum level indicator.

Never operate the appliance
without any water inside it.
Always fill the kettle with water
before switching it on.

Only fill the appliance with cold
and drinking water to prevent
lime build-up.
