Always clean the lint filter before every drying
cycle. Never operate the dryer without the lint filter
in place.
x
When required, clean the cabinet and control
panel using a damp soapy cloth.
x
Periodically wipe the inside of the drum with a
damp cloth
x
Do not use abrasive scouring powders or
aggressive cleaning solutions as these may
damage the plastic parts of the dryer.
Lint filter
x
The lint filter assembly is located at the front of the
door.
x
The filter should be cleaned after each load to
maintain optimum drying efficiency.
x
While holding the door closed with one hand,
insert two fingers of the other hand into the large
central holes of the cover and pull it free of the
locating spigot.
x
Remove the filter from the door by pulling on the
central grip.
x
Gently rub the filter mesh to loosen and remove
accumulated lint and fluff.
x
Re-assemble in reverse order.
x
Every 3 months wash the filter mesh using a nylon
brush and hot soapy water. This will open the
pores in the mesh and restore optimum
performance.
A warning light will glow as a reminder that the filter is
to be cleaned after the completion of a programme. If
the filter cleaning warning glows continuously, please
refer to, “Trouble shooting”.
