• A timer (maximum duration 99 min-
utes) is available for all the cooking zones
and relates to one cooking zone or to both
at the same time.
The timer can be allocated only to those
zones which are in use.
• A timer allocated to a cooking zone is
identifiable by a dot on the power induc-
tion display concerned
.
• A steady dot in the display indicates
that the timer is active in the cooking zone
concerned. The time indicated in the timer
display relates to the cooking zone indicat-
ed by a flashing dot in the power indication
display.
Switching the timer on
:
— Switch on the cooking zone or zones
and adjust the power as indicated in the
previous chapter.
—Activate the timer for the cooking zone
concerned by pressing button
.

If you have previously switched on two
gas burners, check that the dot is flashing
in the power indication display cooking
zone concerned. If this is not the case,
press button
a second time.

ow to use the timer
- For the final minute, the countdown is displayed in seconds.
- When the cooking time is complete, the burner switches off automatically (the gas sup-
ply to the burner is then cut).
Using your hob in all simplicity
— Set the required time (in minutes) by re-
peatedly pressing the
and
buttons
until the required time is displayed. The
timer starts.
• When the timer reaches 0, the burner
switches off, the timer display flashes
and intermittent beeps tell you that cooking
is complete. To stop the beeps, press one of
the timer buttons.
•
To change the timer settings:
— Press the button
repeatedly until the
timer display is positioned in the cooking
zone to be modified.
The flashing dot in the power indication dis-
play tells you which is the current burner.
