The fire does not start or the
fire turns to auto-switch-off
mode
Liquid has been detected inside
the over-spill safety-chamber
surrounding the fuel inlet.
Dry off any spilled bioethanol thoroughly
with paper towels. Leave the pop-up lid
open for at least one hour in order to allow
any remaining bioethanol to evaporate
completely. Then close the pop-up lid of the
fuel inlet.
SPILL BOTTOM
The fire does not start or the
fire turns to auto-switch-off
mode
Liquid has been detected inside
the safety-chamber situated in
the bottom of the housing of
Denver Basic™.
Dry off any spilled bioethanol thoroughly
with (paper) towels. Leave the pop-up lid
open for at least one hour in order to allow
any remaining bioethanol to evaporate
completely. Then close the pop-up lid of the
fuel inlet.
NO FLAME
The fire turns to auto-switch-off
mode
The filament is not working or
there is too much draft in the
room.
Try to reduce the draft around the fireplace
by closing any windows or doors. If that
does not help, call your point of sale or
Decoflame on +45 9630 4800 and have
the serial number to hand (can be found
on the back side of the burner and on the
rating plate of this manual).
HOT TEMP.
SENSOR
The fire does not start or the
fire turns to auto-switch-off
mode
The built-in temperature sensor
has detected too high a tem-
perature inside the housing of
Denver Basic™.
Make sure that the fireplace has been
installed according to the technical drawing
and the installation manual and has suffi-
cient natural ventilation. If the error keeps
occuring, contact Dec45 9630
4800.
HOT
EVAPORATOR
The fire does not start or the
fire turns to auto-switch-off
mode
The built-in temperature sensor
has detected too high a tem-
perature inside the housing of
Denver Basic™.
Make sure that the fireplace has been
installed according to the technical drawing
and the installation manual and has suffi-
cient natural ventilation. If the error keeps

BLINKING SLOwLY
EMPTY FUEL
TANK
The fire shuts down and cannot
be started until refuelled
The fuel level in the tank is too
low or the tank is empty.
Do not switch off the electronics and fill the
fuel tank as described in section 6.
EMPTYING THE FUEL TANK MANUALLY
It is imperative that the fuel tank is empty, if the fireplace needs to relocated, or if it needs to be sent to Decoflame
for further technical assistance. In order to empty the fuel tank manually, please follow the steps below:
1. Lift the burner and take it out from the wall cut-out.
2. To the left, on the side of the fireplace there is a hole allowing access to the spring locking the lid of the fuel inlet
(figure 9.2 and figure 9.3).
3. Pull the spring to the left using a long tool e. g. a screwdriver (figure 9.4) to unlock the lid.
4. The lid will open and then you can empty the bioethanol in the fuel tank through the fuel inlet, using a pump or a
hose.
