before use. Please also save the instructions
in case you need to refer to them at a later

Special safety instructions
• The gas heater is not intended for use
by persons with a physical, sensory or
mental disability or any person unable
to operate the appliance unless they
are supervised or have been instructed
how to use the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
• The gas heater requires a hose and
regulator (supplied)
• When you light the gas heater for the � rst
time or when it has not been used for a
prolonged period, the gas heater should
be lit outdoors and should run outdoors
for 15 minutes.
• The gas heater consumes oxygen when
it is lit. Therefore, it may only be used in
locations with good ventilation.
• The gas heater must not be used in
vehicles, caravans, campervans, cellars,
bathrooms, bedrooms, showers, pool
areas and high-rise buildings.
• Do not use the gas heater when you are
sleeping.
• Check for leaks each time before use.
• Get an approved service centre (for gas,
hose and regulator) to check the gas
heater every year.
• The gas heater must be checked for leaks
before using it for the � rst time and if
it has not been used for a prolonged
period.
• The gas system and regulator must be
checked for leaks using soapy water and
if necessary repaired before use (see ‘Leak
test’).
• Always ensure that hoses to and from
the gas bottle and any hose joints will
not be damaged during use. The supply
pressure must be 28-30 mbar. Never use
gas bottles or valves that are damaged or
rusty.
• If you smell gas during use, close the gas
bottle regulator immediately. DO NOT
disconnect the regulator. Place the gas
bottle and the gas heater outdoors. Open
all doors and windows, ventilate the
room and test for leaks as described in
‘Leak test’.
