In this step the user peaks the antenna on the satellite that will be stored in memory using the

the satellite name to assign to the non-volatile memory entry.

When the antenna is aligned with the desired satellite and the satellite name displayed, the

 key is hit to proceed to the next step in the procedure.

When the user is peaking the antenna, the 

Pol CW

, 

Pol CCW

, 

H

, and 

V

 keys.  The 

H

 or 

V

keys will select the horizontal or vertical polarization of the last satellite that was either
programmed into memory via Setup mode or recalled via Auto mode.

The 

Scroll Up

 and 

Scroll Down

 keys scroll through a list of satellite names stored in the

controller’s EPROM memory.  If the desired satellite name is not listed, the USER entry allows
to user to specify a 10 character alphanumeric name to assign to the satellite.  See section
4.5.1 for information on how to enter a user defined satellite name.
