USING THE OVEN
MODELS 4506 -3506 -4006
The oven has three operating modes: with two up and down resistors (regular), Grill and
only the down resistor. You can select the oven function from the thermostat,
• 0, oven switched off
• 0 - max, regular operation
• 1: down resistor operation
• 2: Grill
MODEL 1506
The oven possesses regular operation and Grill operation
To operate the oven (upper and lower resistance-regular), select the upper position on
the rotary switch and turn the thermostat to the desired temperature.
• 0, the oven is switched off.
• 50- MAX °C, the oven operates (the indicating light is switched on) on the desired-
temperature.
• Pre-heat for about 5 minutes.
To operate the oven in Grill mode
• Choose the lower position of the switch.
• Turn the thermostat in MAX °C.
• Pre-heat the oven for about 5 minutes.
• Place the rack with the meat.
• When the roasting is done, turn the thermostat back the position “ | ”.
In the case of the STAR 1506 model with a timer, select the desired cooking time on the
timer or select the manual position (hand symbol). When the selected time elapses you
will hear a buzzer and the timer will be switched off. Turn the thermostat and timer to
“0” (in case the timer is manually operated).
The 145 mm diameter hob can only operate continuously when the oven is not in
operation. When the oven is switched on, the hob automatically switches off even if its
indicator light remains on. The hob will operate again when the oven is not operating.

OPERATION OF THE OVEN
Operation of the hobs (MODELS 4506 -3506 -4006)
These models are equipped with 2 or 3 cooking hobs. The 1500W hob (180 mm
diameter) is controlled by a 7-position rotary switch. The 1000W hob (145mm diameter)
is controlled by a 4-position rotary switch. The 450W hob (80mm diameter) can only be
open (the light on the switch is on) or closed. The operation of the 7 and 4 position rotary
switch is simple, the volume is proportional to the position of the switch (positions ½ are
present in the 7 position switch).
