By pressing the „Alarm / Set“- button the buzzer and the light will be turned off and the wake up function will end
immediately.

By pressing the „Snooze“ – button the snooze function is activated and the icon of the wake up function located in-
front of the unit starts flashing. The buzzer and the bright light will be activated multiple times within the set time inter-
val.
C) Switch off the wake up function
•
To turn off the set wake-up function without changing the existing program, push the slide switch, which is located
near to the snooze button, to the
position
. So the wake-up function can be deactivated, if for example a wake-
up is not required on weekends.
•
If the Traveller should wake up you again, the set alarm time can be activated by pushing the slide switch to the posi-
tion
or
. The alarm time has not to be reset.
Setting the display brightness
•
Press the „Clock Brightness“- button to set the brightness of the display.
•
You have 3 choices: Set off the display brightness complete, select a low or a high brightness of the display.
Note:
During the night even low light levels can adversely affect the quality of sleep. That is the reason why we recom-
mend to switch off the brightness of the display during the night or to select a low brightness of the display.
Application as reading lamp or bright daylight lamp
•
Press the „Energy Light“- button to switch on the bright light of the device.
•
Pressing the button again will turn off the light.
•
The lighting power of the unit can be set to 5 levels by pressing the „+“ or the „-“ button. Following lighting powers can
be reached in the individual levels:

To set the readingtime or to use the function as bright daylight lamp, press and hold the „Energy Light“- button for 2
seconds until the minute indication on the display flashes.
•
Press the „+“ or the „-“ button to select the time period between 15 / 30 / 45 / or 60 minutes.
•
Press the „Energy Light“- button to confirm the setting. Then the bright light starts to shine immediately.
Note:
To use the device as
bright daylight lamp
, we recommend to select the brightest level 4. Here are reached 2.500
lux at a distance of approx. 26 cm. This lighting power is necessary to stimulate the serotonin release in the brain. As a
result, you can build up more power and performance in only a few days.
To have these positive effects you have to use the bright light for 2 hours daily via the eyes.
