The gear lever is mounted in a housing secured to the gearbox cover,
on which are cast the gear positions, viz.,

To engage reverse do not lift the lever-it is necessary to exert only
a_ little force sideways.

Steering Hand Brake Levers

Mounted at each side of the driver, for use ih making sharp turns

headlands. When pulled backwards, each lever operates on the corresponding
rear. wheel. The steering brakes should not he used as road brakes.
Power Take-olf llnit
(Fig. 6)
To engage the power take-off shaft, depress the clutch pedal, or clutch
hand lever, turn the lever to the vertical position, pull outward and move
a quarter-turn anti-clockwise.
