NOTE: If the appliance detects an error in the height measurement or the HEIGHT flag is OFF, a screen appears to

Weighing children and teenagers 

When users enter an age between 2 and 19 years old, the obtained results of WEIGHT and HEIGHT are shown on a 
chart of percentiles. 
 
Children’s and teenagers’ tickets 

o

 

Children’s and teenagers’ tickets include a table of the most common percentiles, with their reference 
BMI. 

o

 

The table that appears on the ticket corresponds to the child’s sex and age. 

o

 

The values of the tables vary in function of the standard chosen in the appliance setting.

Use of the baby scale accessory 

Preparation and precautions 

o

 

Lift up the cradle of the baby scale 

o

 

Before putting the baby in the cradle, press the cradle with your hand to check again that it is securely in 
place 

o

 

While you weigh the baby, watch its movements to make sure that it doesn’t fall from the cradle 

 
Measurement 

The measurement mode for babies has the following features: 
 

o

 

The divisions are by 10 g 

o

 

It only measures weight, not height 

o

 

The appliance puts out a special ticket with information regarding the baby’s weight 

 
To weigh the baby: 
 
(1)

 

Choose the measurement mode “WEIGHT AND HEIGHT” the same as you would with an adult. 

(2)

 

Choose the sex “BABY BOY” or “BABY GIRL” according to the baby 

(3)

 

Enter the age of the baby in months (from 0 to 24) 

(4)

 

Press [START] 

(5)

 

After you put the baby on the cradle, press [START] 

(6)

 

When you finish the measurement, the result screen appears 

 
Baby tickets 

o

 

The baby ticket includes a table of the most common percentiles, with their reference weight. 

o

 

The table that appears on the ticket corresponds to the baby’s sex and age. 

o

 

The values of the baby tables are based on the standards of the World Health Organization. 

 
 

1.2.3.

 

Basal Metabolic Rate (B.M.R.) 

The result of the measurement of weight and height in adult users (20 years or older), can be enlarged with an 
additional screen that includes the calculations corresponding to the Basal Metabolic Rate and the calorie 
consumption recommended in function of lifestyle. 
 
To show this additional screen, make sure that the BMR flag is activated.
