VASCULAR HEALTH
Limitations of use
The measurement of Vascular Health is not recommended for people affected by the following situations. In
these cases the appliance can’t offer a true status indication of the Vascular Health.
o
People with arrhythmia or other cardiac diseases
o
People wearing artificial nails or manicure
In addition, the following situations may cause an imprecise measurement of Vascular Health. Avoid the following
cases:
o
Move or speak during the measurement
o
Move your finger during the measurement
o
Exercise or do an intense effort before the measurement
o
Smoking, taking drugs or coffee in the 3 hours prior to measurement
o
Drinking alcohol during the day prior to the measurement
o
Eating during the two hours before the measurement
o
Wear rings
o
Having cold hands
Measurement
o
To measure the health of the blood vessels, it is necessary to put the index finger of your left hand on the
sensor, as indicated on the screen.
o
It is very important to put your finger completely inside the sensor. Otherwise, the measurement might
not be precise.
o
To start the measurement, press the [START] button. Make sure that when you press [START], you have
the index finger of your left hand inside the sensor. Otherwise, the measurement won’t be able to start.
o
Don’t speak or move during the measurement, so that the measurement will be correct.
o
The measurement can be interrupted by taking your finger out of the sensor.
o
After 3 failed attempts to measure the arterial pulse, the appliance understands that it isn’t possible to
measure it.
o
When the measurement finishes, the values obtained will appear on the screen.

RESULTS
After each measurement, the appliance shows the values obtained.
When all of the measurements are finished, a summary of all of the results appears, which includes the
recommended values for done measures.
WARNING: You should not medicate yourself on the basis of the measurements made with this appliance.
