6  MAINTENANCE

6.1  AIR FILTER CLEANING

Air filters should be cleaned on a regular maintenance schedule between once every month
and  once  every  three  months  depending  on  the  environment  in  which  the  power  supply  is
installed.

To clean the air filters:

1.  Open the filter grill by simultaneously pulling outward on both sides of the top part of the

grill as shown below. The grill swings open like a door allowing access to the filter.

2.  Remove  the filter  and  clean  it  with  compressed air  or  replace  it  with  new  filter  material.

The filter type material to use is Class G3 according to norm EN 779.

3.  Reinsert the clean filter and close the filter grill.

6.2  COOLING FAN CLEANING

The cooling fan should be cleaned on a regular maintenance schedule between once every
month  and  once  every  three  months  depending  on  the  environment  in  which  the  power
supply is installed.

To clean the cooling fan:

1.  Turn off the AC line input voltage from the external switch.

2.  Open the power supply door with the key.

3.  Clean the fan using compressed air.

4.  Close the power supply door with the key.

5.  Turn on the AC line input voltage from the external switch.
