Auxiliary RS232 Interface
The auxiliary serial interface is used exclusively for RS232 point-to-point or RS232
Master/Slave connections.
The parameters relative to the aux interface (baud rate, data bits, etc.) as well as
particular operating modes such as LOCAL ECHO can be defined using the WinHost
utility program or "Host Mode" programming installed from the diskette.
The following pins of the spring clamp connector are used to connect the RS232
auxiliary interface:

When the auxiliary interface is permanently connected as part of the system cabling,
it is recommended to connect the cable shield to earth ground.
