• Print the High Quality (225 patch) Target on the paper of choice.

• Build a standard profile from this Target print.

• If desired, augment this with the Extended Grays target, as you would with a color 
inkset.

 

Using you custom black and white profile is easy as well. Tint images as desired in 
Photoshop, softproofed through Photoshop’s Proof Setup > Custom option, or print as 
neutral. Spyder3Print slider adjustments are not intended for creating tints with black 
and white inksets, their range is designed for color inksets, so will offer little 
adjustment for black and white inksets.
