Data appears to
be invalid.
An open connection exists.
Check your wiring and fix any open connections; see the

Check the transducer connections; see the instructions in
The thermocouple, RTD, or
voltage input that you
connected to the channel does
not match the software
configuration for that channel.
Check your wiring and ensure that what you specify in
software matches your hardware configuration; see the
instructions in
Your instrument may need
recalibration.
The instrument is calibrated at the factory. Thereafter,
yearly calibration is recommended. Use the Measurement
Calibration Utility, described on
instrument to Data Translation for recalibration.
USB 2.0 is not
recognized.
Your operating system does not
have the appropriate Service
Pack installed.
Ensure that you load the appropriate Windows Service
Pack (version 2 for Windows XP). If you are unsure of
whether you are using USB 2.0 or USB 1.1, run the Open
Layers Control Panel applet, described in
Standby mode is enabled on
your PC.
For some PCs, you may need to disable standby mode on
your system for proper USB 2.0 operation. Consult
Microsoft for more information.
