Testing Single-Value Digital Output
To verify that the module can output a single digital output value, do the following:
1.
Connect a digital output to digital output line 0 of port B on the DT9812 or DT9813 Series
module. Refer to
for an example of how to connect a digital output.
2.
In the Quick DataAcq application, select
Digital Output
from the
Control
menu.
3.
Select the appropriateDT9812 or DT9813 Series module from the
Board
list box.
4.
Select digital output port B by clicking
Port B
.
5.
Click the appropriate bits to select the type of signal to write from the digital output lines.
If the bit is selected, a high-level signal is output from the digital output line; if the bit is
not selected, a low-level signal is output from the digital output line. Optionally, you can
enter an output value in the
Hex
text box.
6.
Click
Send
.
The application outputs and displays the value of each digital output line of digital port B on the
screen in both text and graphical form.
