Software history
dCS
products make extensive use of software configurable chips – FPGAs and DSPs. This gives us
the ability to update our products to add extra features, update digital interface standards or make
performance improvements by loading new software. Occasionally, a hardware upgrade may be
necessary also to increase the “capacity” of the electronics, add extra connectors or extra front panel
controls.
Please note that not all software updates produce an audible improvement. We recommend that you
keep your software up to date. Check the
dCS
web-site occasionally for news of the latest software
updates.
This manual is for
Network Bridge
software version 1.0x.

The first issue, with Network Board v315 for app v1.2.6.
Software update
The Network Bridge v1.00 onwards can be updated from the internet over the network using the
Network Bridge app. Tap
Configuration > Information > Version > Check for Updates
. If an update
is available, please follow the prompts and then wait about 10 minutes – do not switch off or
disconnect the unit during an update. When the front panel LED flashes continually, the update is
complete. Switch off at the back panel, wait 5 seconds, then switch on again. Re-start the app and
check the versions again.
If you are using a different control app, you can update the software using the web client (page

).
