Preheat your oven to 350°F. Butter three 9-inch cake pans that are at least 2 inches
high and line the bottom of each with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda,
and salt. Set aside. In the separate bowl, beat butter and sugar using your Turbo
Hand Mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, around 3-4 minutes.
