Purpose

Off-loading shoe following surgery:
Specifically designed for relief and protection of the forefoot
Indications
> Postoperative use after surgery to correct
hallux valgus or hammer / claw toes
> Healing of forefoot ulcerations
Contraindications
> Open fractures
Design features
The off-loading shoe encloses the heel and tarsus with a soft padded ankle support. The special
sole construction provides relief for the forefoot. The heel cap, hook and loop straps and fasteners
prevent slipping in the shoe. The forefoot area is protected against inadvertent impact. The insole is
removable and can be replaced with a DARCO insole.

sional. DARCO (Europe) GmbH does not assume any responsibility. Do not wear the product with
injured, irritated, damaged or broken skin. You should use bandages or socks, for example.
Do not drive a vehicle while you are wearing this aid. Use extreme caution when climbing stairs (e.g.
also stepping up onto curbs) and walking on uneven surfaces. Walk more slowly than usual.
This aid is intended for single-patient use only.
