2. Installation
Note: The Repeater Unit is installed when system enlargement (transmission distance)
is required, or when other system components cannot reach the Controller (link test is
unsatisfactory).
Temporarily connect the Repeater Unit to a 230 V power supply outlet no further from the
Controller than you can operate both products.
Installation in the CF2 system
1. Activate Install mode on Master Controller – fig. 4:
• Use the menu selection button to select the Install mode.
Install LED flashes.
• Activate Install mode by pressing OK . Install LED goes ON.
2. Activate Install mode on Repeater Unit:
• Release the front cover, see fig. 3.
• Press the push button . LED and flicker during communication.
3. Repeater Unit installation status:
• Satisfactory - LED goes OFF.
• Not satisfactory - LED flashes 5 times.
Installation in the Danfoss Link™ system
1. Install the Repeater Unit on the Danfoss Link™ CC by adding it as a service
device (see the Danfoss Link™ CC manual).
2. Activate Install mode on Repeater Unit:
• Release the front cover, see fig. 3.
• Press the push button . LED and flicker during communication.
3. Repeater Unit installation status:
• Satisfactory - LED goes OFF.
• Not satisfactory - LED flashes 5 times.
