PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Appliance will not operate
• Plug is not fully inserted into the wall outlet
• Blown fuse or circuit breaker

• Appliance size is too small for application
Noise
• The ground is not level
• Air
fi lters are dirty
• Gurgling sounds are normal; this is the refrigerant moving inside
the appliance
Odors
• Formation of mold or mildew on internal wet surfaces
• Place an algaecide tablet in the base pan; ensure the appliance
is unplugged, remove the lower grille and fi lter, place the tablet
in the base pan and replace the lower grille and fi lter
