Declaration for IC and FCC Label Exemption for Danapad PADV3-BT
With reference to Industry Canada, RSP-100 issue 11 chapter 3 Certification of Radio Apparatus and
KDB 784748 D01v08 GUIDELINES FOR LABELLING AND USER INFORMATION FOR DEVICES SUBJECT TO
PART 15 AND PART 18, Poly-Control aps hereby declare an exemption regarding the labelling of the IC
and FCC certification number on the Danapad PADV3-BT product.
This exception applies to the Danalock Danapad electronic lock access panel with IC/FCC ID
12588A-
PADV3BT
and
2ADSH-PADV3BT
. The Danapad model number, IC and FCC certification numbers are
located on the device removable battery lid, see Annex A. The Danapad model number, IC and FCC
certification numbers are additionally listed in the user manual and/or on the product packaging
material, see Annex A Box label and user guide information.
The label placement exemption declaration is based on the fact that the Danapad is an outdoor wall
mounted wireless access panel to operate the indoor Danalock electronic door lock or lock controller.
The label placement is a protective place with respect to the outdoor environment and the battery lid
is essential for the weather and IP protection of the unit and batteries due to temperature, humidity,
water, salt mist etc. that the user will not lose the lid. The sunlight and weather conditions during the
lifetime of the Danapad does not allow for a feasible permanent label placement except for the battery
lid.
