10. In the popup menu, scroll down to find
“Download options” in W7 or “ActiveX controls
and plug-ins” in W10.
11. Change the “Download unsigned ActiveX
controls” to “Prompt”.
12. Disable “Automatic prompt for ActiveX”.
13. Enable “Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins”.
14. Click “OK” to close the Security Settings.
15. Click “OK” to close Internet Options.

BOA2-XA Installation
1. Open Internet Explorer. If there is no menu bar,
click on “Tools” and select “Menu bar”.
2. Pull down the Tools menu, and select “Internet
Options”.
3. In the Internet Properties, click the “Advanced”
tab. Scroll down to the “Security” section.
4. Clear the checkbox for “Enable memory
protection to help mitigate online attacks” in W7
or “Enable Enhanced Protected Mode” in W10.
5. Clear the 3 checkboxes beside certificates, and
signatures.
6. Click “OK”.
Internet Explorer Security Settings
If you have difficulty connecting to the BOA reliably, your network security settings may
be interfering.
Note:
Close all open windows before changing and applying these
settings.
