1 About this document
1.1 Validity
This document applies to the DVS 600 system and to all devices in
the DMS and DLS series fitted with an SK6 sensor card (retrofit
kit).
To make things easier, the term "DVS" is used in this document.
The installation consists of the system DVS, connected cameras
and any other devices and components.
This document was created based on version 5.3.2.
1.2 Documentation on the DVS 600
The DVS is a development based on the high quality hardware
platform of the DMS 180 III. The recording system has been
improved by the use of one or two sensor cards for the video sensor
system.
It does not feature any major differences from the DMS/DLS in
terms of the operation, installation and configuration of the recording
system.
The integral video sensor is configured using the external SenViCon
software, for which a separate manual is available.
We expressly wish to advise that the following manuals
Operating Instructions for the Digital HD Recorder
DMS 180 III (DK 124.000)
Installation and Configuration of the Digital HD Recorder
DMS 180 III (DK 124.001)
for the DVS are still valid and should therefore be observed.
Different procedures are described separately here in this document.
NOTE
It is essential that you pay particular attention to
the safety instructions in the DMS/DLS manual.
