Interval settings
NOTE
Please note that the interval settings apply for
both the LAN and PSTN connections.
The settings cannot be made separately for the
two connection types.
In the Interval settings dialog box, you can specify how the recorder
is to behave if connection to the alarm-host fails.

In the Alarm hosts dialog click the Interval… button to open
the Interval settings dialog.
1 Constant search
If you click radio button 1, the recorder attempts to establish a
connection to the alarm-host every x seconds (interval). The
search proceeds until a connection is made.
2 Repeated search (number)
As with the constant search, the recorder attempts to establish
a connection to the alarm-host every x seconds (interval). The
number of attempts per report is limited, however. If a connection
cannot be established after the specified number of attempts,
the corresponding report is discarded.
